Our Values:
Scripture
We are clear about life-transforming truth from the Bible.
We’re made to know, love, and rely on God and God has made Himself known through the Bible.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
Prayer
We pray bold prayers.
Prayer is our declaration of faith in God—and God can do anything!
Ephesians 6:18
Relationships
We invite each other into real steps of growth.
The primary vehicle of the gospel is relationships—God uses us to help each other say, “Yes!” to Jesus.
John 17:20-21
Celebration
We celebrate big when God moves.
It’s a good gift anytime God does something in our lives—gifts and parties go together!
Luke 15:7
Team
We serve and lead as a team.
Team is the default position of ministry in the bible – we’re a family with lots of spiritual gifts.
Ephesians 4:11-13
Real
We are genuine and real with each other.
Absence of conflict is not the same as unity—we say what we mean and our Yes means Yes.
John 13:34-35
Multiple Locations. One Church Family.
Better Together
Bluffton Community is part of a larger church family – the Findlay Evangelical Free Church family of churches. We are a family of like-minded churches in the northwest Ohio region. We believe that we are more effective in sharing the gospel and making disciples together than we ever would be separate. While all of our locations are committed to the same vision of making disciples and the same biblical doctrine, our ministry platforms are as unique as the people we journey with. We live in communities, cities, and counties that have many, many people – tens of thousands – who are separated from God. It’s going to take lots of disciples staying in step with God’s Holy Spirit and many New Testaments churches working together to fulfil God’s mission of rescuing people from sin and death through genuine faith in Jesus.
