Freedom from sin is one of the first implications of Jesus’ resurrection. Because Jesus has conquered sin and death, through faith, I can be set free from sin and death, too. This is a reality in an instance (through justification) and an ongoing transformation (sanctification). The invitation is to CONFESSION and REPENTANCE.
