History
The Story of Bluffton Community is a reflection of
God’s grace and faithfulness toward those who say YES
to His leadership in their lives.
Bluffton Community is a group of believers that seek God in authenticity through the bible &
prayer in relationship with other growing disciples. We were created to depend on God as we seek to know Him in truth.
It starts when we trust God to lead our lives!
Our Beginnings
In 2019, leaders from two church locations began asking the question, "What may God do with a New Testament church in Bluffton, Ohio?" This question moved to prayer meetings, vision gatherings, and eventually the formation of an online church community that gathered together to worship in a home in the Bluffton, Ohio area! Since then God has continued to move and provide. Since those days, we have watched as God has moved in remarkable ways in the hearts and minds of people who have leaned into his leadership of their lives. All
of us are called to know God intimately. All of us are blessed when we use our lives to make Him known.
Seasons of Growth
Bluffton began growing rapidly from the very beginning. We have
watched the miracle of new life in Christ over and again as so many
people have said:
Yes to Jesus as forgiver and leader!
Yes to believers baptism!
Yes to scripture and prayer in community with other growing disciples!
Having outgrown the first several locations we gathered in, God continues to push us to expand our vision for what He may do with an Acts 2:42, New Testament, church in Bluffton, Ohio! While focussing on the present we are excited to vision for the future of Bluffton Community. Our prayer is that we continue to set goals that can only be achieved through the supernatural movement of God in the lives of people in and around our community!
Looking Ahead
Our family of churches is compelled by the gospel to continue reaching the 50,000 in our region who are far from God. Our world is in desperate need of Jesus, and we know that God uses ordinary believers who have been transformed by the Gospel in His mission. Living Hope Church, Lighthouse Community, and Bluffton Community are praying for God’s
leading as we seek to grow our current locations and plant new churches in our region!
Our Vision for the Future
Bluffton Community continues to grow, guided by our mission to help people follow Jesus every day. We envision a church where people of all ages, stages, and backgrounds can experience hope, connection, and transformation through genuine faith in Christ as their Lord and Savior!
